Big Ink Video From the Lancaster Museum of Art

Had a blast. Enjoy!

In conjunction with the exhibit “The Art of the Big Print: Master Lancaster Printmakers” Lancaster Museum of Art invited BIG INK to work with six printmakers long admired in the local art scene. BIG INK setup our mobile print shop on the museum’s first floor and community members were invited to witness the printing of hand-carved woodblocks by Milt Friedly, Jeff Geib, Matthew Lawrence, Robert Patierno, Gene Shaw, and Brant Schuller. Throughout the afternoon a steady stream of viewers took this rare opportunity to witness our giant mobile printing press, “The Big Tuna” in action. We’d like to thank Anne Lampe, Director of the LMA, for inviting us to the museum. Also, gratitude goes out to Mrs. Lampe’s assistants Emily and Greta for helping with general logistics.
